The results obtained in this investigation suggest that for maximum success and subsequent establishment of rooted layers of guava in nursery application of IBA at 6,000 ppm are quite useful and economically best. There is no marked effect of etiolating on rooting in the case of guava.In order to find out a very conclusive result, these factors needs to be tried further in few more varieties seasons and number of times before recommending it for general use.
