Abstract
A field experiment entitled, “Effect of Integrated Nutrient Management in Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.)” was carried out at the Instructional farm, Rajasthan Collage of Agriculture, Udaipur during rabi season 2021-22. The experiment comprised 12 treatments of effect of integrated nutrient management including one common control in chickpea on the basis of soil analysis. The experiment was laid out in a randomized block design with three replications. The of the experimental site was clay loam in texture slightly alkaline in reaction (8.19 pH), medium in available nitrogen (238.23 kg ha-1) and phosphorus (17.20 kg ha-1) while high in potassium (376.12 kg ha-1) and sufficient amount of DPTA extractable micronutrients. Use of 75% RDF + poultry manure 2.5 t ha-1 + PSB + Rhizobium (T9) significantly improved plant height, dry matter accumulation over control, grain and haulm yield (1985 and 2607.57 kg ha-1) were also significantly higher over control with a corresponding increase of 43.32 and 41.66 per cent and was found at par with 75% RDF + Vermicompost, 3 t ha-1 + PSB + Rhizobium (T7) and 75% RDF + FYM, 6t ha-1 + Rhizobium+ PSB (T8). Similarly higher content and uptake of macronutrients (N, P and K) and micronutrients (Zn, Fe, Mn and Cu) were also recorded under 75% RDF + poultry manure 2.5t ha-1 + PSB + Rhizobium (T9) which was higher over control. Maximum soil carbon, available nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, iron, manganese and copper was observed in treatment where 75% RDF + poultry manure 2.5t ha-1 + PSB + Rhizobium (T9) was applied followed by treatment of 75% RDF + Vermicompost, 3 t ha-1 + PSB + Rhizobium (T7) and 75% RDF + FYM, 6t ha-1 + Rhizobium+ PSB (T8). Highest net profit (` 93239 ha-1) were observed under application of 75% RDF + poultry manure 2.5ton ha-1 + PSB + Rhizobium (T9).
