Abstract
The study was conducted at Sendamangalam and Erumaipatti blocks of Namakkal district in Tamil Nadu. A sample of thirty milkvendors from each block was selected by using simple random sampling technique. Socioeconomic variables such as education, occupation, milk vending experience, training attended, extension agency contact and mass media exposure had a positive and significant relationship with knowledge level of the respondents. Further, it also revealed that only three variables viz., education, occupation and extension agency contact contributed much towards the knowledge level of the respondents.
