Abstract
The objective of the study was to identify the existence of TLR18 expression in various food shes of India viz., Channa striata, Pangasius pangasius, Mastacembelus guentheri, Cyprinus carpio, Catla catla, Tilapia mossambicus, Clarias batrachus and Labeo rohita. RT-PCR results showed that the basal expression of TLR18 was present in Pangasius pangasius. The sequence information generated for TLR18 gene was submitted to GenBank (Acc No: JQ627837).
