Abstract
The causative agents of canine dermatomycoses are commonly M. gypseum, M. canis, T. rubrum and T. mentagrophytes. Specific diagnosis of different types of ringworm in dogs is possible if cultural examination of skin scrapings are undertaken appart from studying clinical signs and histopathological observations. Younger dogs are more susceptible to dematomycoses compared with adults ones. Occurance of ringworm in dogs has seasonal variations being more in summer and less in winter.
Charmaid one cap. / 10 Kg body weight and Newcharm oint. twice daily for five days followed by once daily where highly effective against dematomycoses in affected dogs.
