dc.description.abstractEthno-Veterinary practices (EVP) encompass the indigenous beliefs, knowledge, skills, methods, and practices pertaining to health care of animals. These are mainly orally transmitted practices by traditional communities which has helped the resource poor livestock farmers, especially in primary health care for sustainable livestock production. Many of the EVP are apparently time tested, readily available, location speciļ¬c and are environment friendly, making the livestock farmers dependable on them.en_US
