Abstract
The present study has been undertaken to analyse the leading medical journals and contribution of India to global scholarly medical literature based on the SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) portal which provides the journals and country scientific indicators developed from the information contained in the Scopus database of Elsevier B.V. The present study has analysed the medical journals in 20 subject category.
