Abstract
On the basis of results obtained in the present investigation, the following conclusions were drawn : 1. The Japanese quail may be provided 180 to 210 sq. cm. floor space per bird for proper growth and more return in cage system of management. 2. In deep litter system of management, the Japanese quail may be provided 210 to 240 sq. cm. floor space per bird for proper growth and better return. 3. The deep litter system of management was found better than that of cage system of management for quail farming. 4. The Japanese quail may be sold in the market at the age of 6 weeks for better return.
