dc.description.abstractEnterotoxemia, a disease that affects domestic ruminants especially sheep and goats, is caused mainly by the epsilon toxin from Clostridium perfringens type D. Its eradication is virtually impossible, control and prophylaxis are based on systematic vaccination of herds with alum precipitated whole cell with epsilon toxoid vaccines is the only efficient way in inducing protective antibody production.en_US
