Abstract
The history of infectious diseases occurrence in human and animal population is very
well scripted in epics and olden literatures. The Zoonotic diseases transmitted between
human and animals is not a new phenomenon, but the depth of knowledge on common
diseases of animals and human beings might have been lesser than the modern understanding
but evidence depicts some of the diseases shared between human and animals were found in
3000-year-old Egyptian mummies.
