Intercropping of soybean either with rice or radi is non beneficial under normal climatic crop season but may be profitable under adverse season. Intercropping cultivation may be advocated under socioeconomic conditions of farmers of this region where farmers are not in a position to take weed control measures and have low risk bearing habits. Herbicide application (Fluchloralin 1.5 kg a.i. hal as PPI) is not less beneficial because of man powers is not available at peak period of season but it may be more beneficial where labour charge is too high.
