dc.description.abstract1.4% urea treatment of paddy straw at 50% moisture level stored for 4 weeks has significantly better effect on increasing its protein percent and lowering the content which in turn has increased and protein degradability’s in the rumen. 2. 4% urea treatment of peddy straw of 50% moisture level stored for 20 days has improved its digestibility of martinets, retention of nitrogen and food efficiency ratio along with significant weight gains in 210 days without affecting either their health or carcass characteristics. Concluding, it could be mentioned that 4% urea treatment of paddy star at 50% moisture level when stored for 4 weeks has a powerful effect on the overall improvement of its nutritive value as well as on productive performance of the animals.en_US
