Abstract
Rumen fluid was collected from twenty apparently healthy cows.
The stored after adding coleman mineral salt solution
(Coleman, I978) with either 1.5% starch or 5% sucrose solution at room
temperature and refrigeration temperature Colour, odour, pH and
methylene blue reduction time were observed
