Abstract
Freezing trials were conducted using three diluents viz. Lake’s diluent, Beltsville
Poultry Semen Extender (BPSE) and modified BPSE along with three cyroprotectants i.e.
Glycerol, Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO) and Ethylene glycol at different concentrations and
equilibration periods. Based on post-thaw performance, five treatment combinations were
investigated in detail on different periods of storage for their acrosomal damage and
organelle integrity.
