Abstract
The surgical approach to the canine liver differs according to
the lobe involved and type of lesion. The standard approaches to the
liver are mid-line, paracostal and thoraco- abdominal incisions. A new
approach “Mercedes” reported by Rolles (1983) in man was attempted
to approach the canine liver.
