Abstract
Leptospirosis has been recognised as a worldwide problem in dairy cattle on account of abortion, still births, infertility and decreased milk production (Thiermann, 1984). Prevalence of leptospirosis due to different serovars among Indian livestock, based on serological evidence, has been reported by various workers.
