Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study aims to access and evaluate the Farmers perception towards Agri-clinical
services of the rubber crop. The study has taken readings on the basis of their awareness level
towards clinical services, the perception regarding clinical services, the significance of issues
during the application of clinical services and some suggestive opinions. The primary data
has been collected from the Sepahijala district of Tripura in the questionnaire form, where
120 farmers i.e., 20 farmers from each village are randomly selected for recording of data.
The study was analysed in analytical tools & technique methods where Total Weighted Score
(TWS) and Percentage methods were used. The results indicate that they are mostly aware
about the plant health and protection remedies because the incidence of pest and diseases are
higher on the field/farm. It also finds that they believe that clinical services increases the
plant related knowledge and their protection remedies and also observed that there is less
number of clinical services. The study concludes that subsidies will increase more
development in their purchasing capacity like equipment & tools and also it will lead to more
participation in rubber farming.
