Abstract
The Present study was Undertaken to characterize a lesser Known Sheep genetic group of Fatehpur district (Gang-Fatehpur) of Uttar Pradesh. The Gang Fatehpuri sheep were characterized phenotypically as well as moleculer level by using 15 microsatellite markers.The dairy, carcass, reproductive and wool parameters were eveluated on 100 lactating ewes, 92 lambs, 150(50 male and 100 Female) and 100 animals, respectively.
