REGIONAL MEGAESOPHAGUS DUE TO PERSISTENT RIGHT AORTIC ARCH IN A PUP

Abstract
Mechanical obstruction of the esophagus and interference with propulsion of ingesta into the stomach may result from inherent disorders of esophageal function. A frequent sequel to chronic partial obstruction is megaesophagus proximal to the lesion (Fingeroth, 1993). The present case report deals with regional megaesophagus due to persistent right aortic arch in a pup.
