Abstract
The project entitled “To develop marketing strategy to gain 20%
market share of Amul chocolate in Ahemdabad city” was undertaken
through primary market survey. Amul is the one of the leading food
brand in India. Amul products are sold at reasonable prices. Amul has a
turnover of Rs. 67113 billion in 2008-09.The increase of the spending
power of the people all over the world has encouraged quite a few big
brands to venture into chocolate industry. As far as the chocolate industry
is concerned, Cadbury Nestle and Amul are the three most dominant
brands, which market a host of chocolates as well as chocolate based
