Abstract
A study on financial analysis for economically viable buffalo farm in urban and semi urban areas of
Chennai city was undertaken using a structured questionnaire with the objectives of studying the investment
pattern, cost and returns analysis for milch buffaloes maintained by different categories of farm sizes thereby to
guide the new entrepreneurs to run economically viable dairy buffalo unit.
