The uniformity trial on potato Cv. Kufri Badshah was conducted during rabi season in the year 2002-2003 at the Potato Research Station, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Deesa, -Dist.. Banaskantha. The tuber yield data of 1296 basic units (the size of each basic unit was Im. x Im. i.e., two rows each of I m length) were recorded and analysed to determine optimum size and shape of plot using three different methods viz., maximum curvature method, comparable variance method· and Fairfield Smith's method. Relative efficiency of different designs of experiment, number of replications and relative land use efficiency were also worked out.en_US
