Twelve non-pregnant, healthy; parous, cyclical Barbari breed of goats were randomly divided into two equal groups namely Groups l, utilized for surgical embryo recovery and Group ll utilized for Laparoscopic embryo recovery. All the 12 goats were synchronized with Norgestomel ear implant (3 mg) plus PGF2<x and superovulated with PMSG - 1000 IU. Estrus was detected with the help of an apronized buck. The goats were bred with a fertile buck during estrus. The embryos were recovered on day 7 afterthe first service in both the groups. The overall mean embryo recovery rates were 61.36 per cent and 18.92 per cent for Group I and Group ll respectively.en_US
