Abstract
Rare earth elements (REE) are the elements which include 17
transition elements of the lll subgroup in the periodic table.REE act as
calcium analogs in various biological processes in living cells and can improve
the protein and other nutrient utilization through stimulating activities of the
hormones such as growth promoting hormone (triiodothyronine).
Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a yeast and effective adsorbent for minerals
which is rich in crude protein and vitamin-B complex.
