Abstract
A rescued star tortoise (Geochelone elegans) was presented to the Exotic
Animal Medicine Referral Clinic VCRI, Orathanadu. lt was said to have gasping
and nasal discharge. It was force fed with fruit juices and milk. It was dull and
reluctant to move.
