A comprehensive study which included differ- ent strains of commercially available infectious bursal disease virus vaccines administered in various regimens at field level. Quantification of hurnoral immune responses by ELISA and QAGID showed the onset of antibody responses in majority (80 per cent) of the birds by 7“‘ day. Studies till 84 day post vaccination suggest the use of either a single dose of intermediate plus vaccine strain or two doses of intermediate vaccine strain for enhanced protection in disease endemic regions with circulating maternal derived antibodies.en_US
