Abstract
Six adult Aseel birds, fair in bodily condition were presented for necropsy with a history of traumatic injury before death. They were aged between one to one and half years. (three males and two females) and were reared as a backyard venture. Postmortem examination revealed haemorrhages in the mucous membrane of the eye, socket of the eyeball, bleeding around the beak, blood clots in the oral cavity, swollen head with severe congestion, oedema, haemorrhages and cyanotic skin as a result of traumatic injury before death.
