The alignment deformities of the canine radius are common due to growth disturbances in forelimbs (Fox, 1984). Asymmetric physeal closure of distal radius can result in radial shortening, elbow subluxation and carpal varus or valgus deformities (Balfour et al., 2000). Premature closure of the distal ulnar physis due to trauma is the most common cause of radial growth deformation (O’Brien et al., 1971; Balfour et al., 2000). The present case reports the distal radius asymmetrical premature physeal closure with subluxation of the elbow joint and its surgical management by corrective osteotomy, and fixed with T plate and intramedullary K-wiring of ulna.en_US
