dc.description.abstract | In the present study, the effect of erythropoietin in liver of septic mice was investigated. Sepsis was induced by caecal ligation and puncture model. After 20+2 hrs of surgery, blood and liver samples were collected. Plasma TNF-α, IL-1β, Serum AST, ALT and Liver lipid peroxidation, myeloperoxidase, thiols was estimated and histopathology was performed. Post-treatment with erythropoietin ameliorated the sepsis induced changes in hepatic and systemic inflammatory changes in mice. | en_US |
