HANDIGOL MAJOR ADVISOR The present study was undertaken in Coorg district of Karnataka state where anthuriums are grown in a large area. The primary data was collected for the year 2003-04, by personal interview method with the help of a pre-tested schedule, on the aspects of costs, returns, problems in production and marketing of anthuriums from both the organised and unorganised sectors of cultivation. The data was also collected from the consumers regarding the quality preferences for anthuriums. The secondary data regarding the exports of anthuriums was collected from the companies involved in the exports in Bangalore.en_US
