T Farmers depends heavily on chemical pesticides to increase productivity, results in pesticide residues in vegetables, fruits and grains, increased resurgence in pests. Integrated pest management became most important criteria in pest management since 1985 which provides better results than chemical dependence. Present study is done by three main objectives, firstly to study socio-economic characters of respondents, secondly to study their relation with attitude of respondents towards IPM and lastly to study the perceived problems of farmers towards IPM practices. Study was carried out using multi stage sampling with structured questionnaire. Study shows that Attitude of 96 percent IPM farmers was favorable and 4 percent of IPM farmers are moderately favorable. 10 percent of Non IPM farmers are unfavorable and 90 percent are moderately favorable. IPM farmers are concerned about environment, yield and resource management but Non IPM farmers are more concerned about yield as per the statements used to analyze the attitude towards IPM. The study shows that majority of IPM farmers perceive that IPM practices require more labour and time but remaining problems seems to be less affected for them. All Non IPM farmers perceived that IPM practices require more labor and time.en_US
