Good health of women and children are indispensable for the balanced socio-economic development of the family which in turn will reflect on the national scene. They constitute about 70 percent of the population of our country and their health is the better health of the family and nation. It is, therefore , expedient that their health should be protected and promoted through all planned health care programmes,en_US
