Abstract
This study aimed to correlate the occurrence of schistosomiasis with age, sex, breed and seasonal prevalence of cattle. Nasal washings were collected to detect the presence of schistosomiasis. It was also observed that, rate of infections in adult cattle (over two years) were higher than young cattle (below two years). Whereas the frequency of schistosomiasis was lower in localbred than crossbred cattle than in indigenous cattle. The incidence of schistosomiasis was more during rainy season than summer.
