Addition of glucose and electrolytes, individually and in combination to the basal diet of juvenile meat-type Japanese quails during the first seven days of age, improved their body weight and body weight gain up to four weeks of age. The birds were reared under open sided cage housing system during the experiment period. The results of the experiment revealed that juvenile feeding of Japanese quail with glucose and electrolyte in combination in the feed significantly showed higher body weight and body weight gain.en_US
