Abstract
Rural women in India shoulder multi
various responsibilities and perform a
diverse roles in their home, activities as
wives in their personal lives with their
husbands, as mothers in the growth and
development of their children, and as home
makers incharge of the operations of their
homes. In livestock farm they work along
with head of the family in feeding, watering,
milking, cleaning the shed, egg collection
etc. Putting in 14-18 hours of productive
manual labour daily, farm women plays an
important role in decision making of
livestock farming.
