Abstract
The present study on decision making pattern of urban working
and non-working women in home activities in Dharwad district of
Kamataka State was undertaken in the year 2005-06 with a sample
size of 140 including 70 women working in different government and
non-govemment organizations and remaining 70 non-working women.
The data was collected on employment details of working women,
socio-personal characteristics, decision making pattern, constraints
faced and stress management techniques adopted by the respondents
with the help of pre-tested structured interview schedule.
