Abstract
Buffaloes were screened for the presence of Infectious Bovine
Rhinotracheitis/Infectious Pustular Vulvovaginitis (IBR/IPV) virus anti-
bodies. Out of 156 sera tested, 53 (33.97%) were found to be positive
for antibodies to IBR/[PV virus. The incidence recorded was more in
animals with the history of reproductive problems than with respiratory
nfections. Breedwise study revealed that Murrah and Murrah cross are
more susceptible than r1on~descripts. Similarly, females and animals aged
above 3years' showed a fairly high incidence of IBR/IPV infection.
