dc.description.abstractNative chicken rearing is a developed and most demanding sector among the poultry industry. In this study an attempt was made to assess the effect of system of rearing and farm size on the feeding practices of backyard poultry in Karur district of Tamil Nadu. A sample of 30 farmers were selected for this study by Simple random sampling method. Survey method was adopted in this study to collect the primary data from the sample farmers using a pretested well fabricated interview schedule.en_US
