Abstract
The study was carried out Lo find the productive and reproductive
performance of Madras Red sheep under accelerated lambing system against the
Conventional once-yearly lambing system. Seventy two cyclic Madras Red ewes
between 2 & 4 years of age, belonging to the Sheep and Goat Breeding Unit of
Postgraduate Research Institute in Animal Sciences, Kattupakkam were utilised
for this study.
