dc.description.abstractEighty six E. coli strains from calf diarrhoea, were studied for antibiotic resistance by using 15 different antimicrobials. All were resistant to a minimum of one drug and to a maximum of 12 drugs. Thirty four strains were having common resistant pattern of tet-pol-sul. Resistance to tetracycline, erythromycin, and sulfonamides were more than 80% and all the strains were sensitive to nalidixic acid.en_US
