Abstract
Native chicken rearing is a developed and most demanding sector among the poultry
industry. This study was conducted to assess the impact of farming experience on the feeding practices of backyard poultry in Karur district of Tamil Nadu. A sample of 30 farmers were selected for this study Simple random sampling method. Survey method was adopted in this study to collect the primary data from the sample farmers using a protested well fabricated interview schedule. The collected data were analysed by conventional analysis in the form of percentages and pearson chi-square analysis.
