dc.description.abstract | The.results of nested PCR were correlated with that of indirect fluorescent antibody test (IFAT) on 50 matched samples. The results were concordant in 44 out of 50 cases. PCR was concluded to be more suitable than IFAT in the diagnosis of early and subclinical infections of canine ehrlichiosis and served as a reliable indicator for determining the significance of persistent antibody titers. | |
