dc.description.abstractThe objective of the study was to compare the efficacy of nylon sutures and Octylcyanoacrylate in skin wound closure. The study was carried out in 12 dogs randomly divided into two groups of 6 animals each. The skin wound was closed with nylon sutures in group I and with Octylcyanoacrylate in group ll. Wounds were assessed for healing on postoperative day 3, 7 and l0. Parameters used for wound healing analysis were — erythema, swelling, discharge and infection, dehiscence, pain and overall appearance.en_US
