Livestock in general and poultry in particular ofifer a vast scope for generafing income in economically backward areas. With proper management of finance and manpower resources, poultry can give the needed momentum and direction to the aspirations of the luge majority of people for better quality of life. The economic ability of the poultry units mainly depend on the production and productivity of the birds for which the farmers should adopt sderitific techniques.en_US
