Abstract
A Holstein Friesian cow was admitted to the
Veterinary College and Research Institute Hospital
with a history of complete cessation of defecation far
the last ten days. The animal passed dark brown pasty
faeces for 2-3 days during the course of the disease.
The animal was earlier treated with laxatives/
purgatives for three days.
