Abstract
An occurrence of Coenurus gaigeri in sheep of Thoppur ,Madurai District, Tamilnadu was reported in sheep . Coenurus gaigeri, a larval stage of T.gaigeri was identified in muscles of sheep in thigh and shoulder especially biceps femoris and triceps followed by abdominal muscles in sheep. No cysts were seen in the brains, spinal cords or
abdominal viscera of sheep.
