Abstract
Perineal hernia is the herniation of abdominal
or pelvic contents caudally through the pelvic
diaphragm. Perineal hernia is often reported in old,
uncastrated male dogs due to the straining and
constipation or / and as a result of enlarged prostate
gland due to the hormonal imbalance (Robinette, 1985).
