Co-Occurrence of Marek's Disease and Inclusion Body Hepatitis in a Broiler Parent Stock

Abstract
Seventeen-day-old broiler parent birds showed sudden death with a mortality rate of 10 per cent in a private farm. Based on the gross, histopathology and polymerase chain reaction performed with hexon gene of fowl adenovirus which revealed expected amplicon size of H1/H2 [1219 bp] and H3/H4 [1319 pb], it was diagnosed that the death of the birds was due to concurrent Marek's disease and inclusion body hepatitis.
