Abstract
Transportation of ostriches is regarded as a stressful and very risky affair not only to the birds but also to the persons involved. Their high centre of gravity, bipedal, two toed feet, height of 7- 8 ft and weight of 130 — 150 kgs make them posturally instable during transportation.
