dc.description.abstractThe sternum of African gray parrot was comprised of a rostrum or manubrium sterni (sternal spine), a body or corpus sterni and a keel or sternal crest. The sternal spine was long, thick and bent, hook - like process. The corpus sterni was quadrilateral in shape. The cranio lateral processes were short and quadrilateral in shape.
